Overview

This seasonal role supports the Escape Halloween 2026 entertainment team in San Bernardino, California, with Insomniac, a festival and event producer. The Entertainment Wardrobe Specialist reports to the Entertainment Director and manages costumes for performers at live events. The position combines styling, fitting and garment repair with fast-paced show operations.

What you'll do

• Set up the wardrobe area for speed and efficiency.
• Issue and log approved costume pieces to performers at check-in and check-out.
• Fit performers to costume sizing and style looks from photos or written briefs.
• Check each look against the wardrobe checklist before it goes on the event grounds.
• Repair, alter and maintain costumes, footwear, props and accessories.
• Help with quick changes during set-up and show running, then clean, repack and store wardrobe after each show.

What you need

• Diploma in fashion, textiles, costuming or production arts, or at least three years of wardrobe, costume or styling experience.
• Hand and machine sewing skills, plus practical repair of garments and footwear.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for long periods.
• Comfort working in loud, busy environments and variable temperatures.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays and to travel to events.

Schedule

Evening, weekend and holiday hours may be required, as needed to meet event deadlines.

Pay

Hourly pay is listed as $16.50 to $32.00 USD, with an expected rate of $16.90 USD.
