Overview
Meow Wolf is recruiting a Safety & Security Manager to lead security personnel at its Grapevine, Texas immersive exhibition. The role oversees contracted security services, guest and employee safety, and emergency response, working closely with operations, events and other departments.
What you'll do
- Oversee contracted security services, audit performance and manage vendor relationships
- Schedule full-time and part-time security officers and lead their training and performance reviews
- Inspect facilities for safety and security compliance and deliver safety training
- Prepare incident and trend reports covering staffing levels and budget spend
- Coordinate security needs with events, programming and other departments, and maintain emergency response procedures
What you need
- At least five years in a leadership role in safety and security, ideally in hospitality or tourism
- Experience as a safety and security manager or supervisor
- OSHA 30 General Industry certification
- Experience creating safety policies and loss prevention programmes
- Experience developing and adhering to budgets
