Services Associate, Road Events

Summary

LA28, the organising committee for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games, is recruiting a Services Associate for Road Events. The role acts as the main services contact for cycling, athletics and triathlon international federations, covering accommodation, transport, accreditation and hospitality. It is based onsite in Downtown Los Angeles and includes leading paid staff and sport-specific volunteers at Games time.

What you will do

• Lead development and delivery of venue-based event operations plans for venues, road operations and city operations
• Act as the dedicated services contact with International Federations for cycling, athletics and triathlon
• Coordinate team and administrative operations, including databases, planning documents and meetings
• Advocate for and coordinate services for athletes, technical officials, federation staff and guests
• Manage full-time staff and sport-specific volunteers, including scheduling, training and recognition

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in international sporting events and project management tools
• Experience working with National and International Federations during events
• Experience managing staff and volunteers across multiple projects and stakeholders
• Good project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams and SharePoint
• Excellent written and spoken English
