Summary
LA28 is recruiting a Venue Technology Manager to plan and deliver technology services and AV equipment at assigned Olympic and Paralympic venues. The role is hybrid, based mainly in the Downtown Los Angeles office with later venue-based working, and carries a stated base salary of $88,000 to $115,000 per year.
What you will do
- Manage technology planning, installation, testing, operations and decommissioning at assigned Games venues
- Lead venue technology teams made up of paid staff, contractors and volunteers
- Work with venue management, partners and service providers to resolve technology issues
- Track risks, dependencies and progress, and report to governance structures
- Provide operational leadership at Games time, including shift work and escalation to the Technology Operations Centre
Requirements
- At least five years' experience managing technology projects or proven experience in a similar role
- Experience in sport, major events or stadium operations is welcome
- A university degree in IT, computer science or a related field is desirable
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English; additional languages are desirable
