Overview
This Client Finance Senior Analyst role sits within an events agency based in New York, supporting account and project teams on contract compliance, billing and financial reporting for agency work. The post acts as a finance liaison with shared service centres, intercompany partners and business units.
What you'll do
- Manage job lifecycles and share job numbers so team members can enter timesheets promptly
- Check that agency estimates are entered, updated and approved correctly to support tracking and billing
- Oversee monthly billing for accuracy and compliance with client contracts, resolving issues quickly
- Prepare and present trackers, WIP reports and financial insights to stakeholders
- Work with the Client Finance Manager to address financial concerns and keep projects on benchmark
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is preferred
- At least one year of experience in accounting and/or finance
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and charts, plus basic PowerPoint knowledge
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Pay
The advertised pay range is $55,000 to $70,000.
