Summary
Fever is recruiting a part-time onsite Event Manager for its Candlelight classical concerts in Dallas. The fixed-term role runs for six months, with shows typically from Thursday to Sunday, up to 29 hours a week, and a rate of $25 per hour, with transport costs not compensated.
What you will do
- Act as the main onsite point of contact for events and staff
- Manage the staff roster, schedules and training, including with the staffing agency
- Oversee inventory, printing and guest lists for each event
- Transport event supplies to and from concert venues
- Report weekly to Fever Originals project managers on each event
Requirements
- At least one year of event management experience and/or a relevant degree (preferred)
- Interest in live music and organising events
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience leading an on-site team
- Knowledge of AV and PA systems (desirable)
