General Manager, Experiences

Summary

Posh is hiring a General Manager to build and run its experiential arm, including a permanent New York venue and large consumer events. The role carries two P&Ls and a multi-million dollar budget, with a year-one target of break-even and a brief to create a repeatable venue concept. It is based in-person in Soho, New York City.

What you will do

• Own two P&Ls and a multi-million dollar annual budget for the venue and curated experiences
• Run the New York venue to monthly break-even in year one and document it as a prototype for other markets
• Programme monthly marquee consumer events and smaller weekly recurring community experiences
• Own ticket revenue, sell-through and customer acquisition cost, including the marketing funnel
• Manage permitting, security, insurance and city relationships for large-format events

Requirements

• 8+ years in experiential, events, hospitality or nightlife, with several years owning a P&L
• Experience running an events business or portfolio with millions in annual revenue
• Large-format event experience with multi-thousand attendees, including permitting, security and contingency planning
• Track record managing multi-million dollar budgets against forecasts
• Experience hiring and leading teams and a bench of contractors and vendors
