Manager, VNI Procurement

Overview

This onsite role in Downtown Los Angeles leads end-to-end procurement and contract management for Venue Infrastructure commodities supporting the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The manager works alongside Design and Delivery, Engineering, Legal, Finance and Venue Management teams to deliver venues on time and on budget.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end sourcing for assigned Venue Infrastructure commodities under LA28's procurement strategy.
• Turn awarded bids into clear, enforceable contract documents with Legal.
• Join contract negotiations, set selection criteria and support award decisions.
• Check market approaches and supplier qualifications, and prepare bid packages aligned to design and engineering standards.
• Build sustainability and impact requirements into procurements and report progress against LA28 metrics.
• Coordinate with Design and Delivery, Engineering, Finance and Venue Management so contracts meet venue timelines.

What you need

• Minimum of five years in procurement, including contracts for major infrastructure or temporary works.
• Experience with contract systems such as Agiloft, Workday, Textura, CMiC or Compass.
• Bachelor's degree in business or legal studies, or five years of equivalent procurement and contracts experience.
• Experience leading a contracted team of procurement and contracts professionals on time-bound programs.
• Strong negotiation, collaboration and decision-making skills.

Schedule

Hours may vary, including evenings, weekends and holidays, particularly during peak event periods.

Pay

The annual base salary range is $88,000 to $115,000.
