Summary
Fever is hiring a senior backend engineer for its live-entertainment platform, based in South Korea with a home-office-friendly setup. What you will do
- Design and implement end-to-end features within a squad
- Take ownership of core components and help evolve their architecture
- Work on event-driven systems focused on performance, reliability and scalability
- Lead through code reviews, design sessions and mentoring
- Collaborate with Product, Data and other Engineering teams
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of maintainable, scalable code, with test-driven development and design patterns
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience handling high-concurrency services and high request volumes
- Proficiency with Datadog or similar monitoring and profiling tools, and business English
