Overview
This VIP sales role at Saint Andrew's Hall in Detroit involves selling boxes and reserved seating ahead of shows and offering VIP upgrades to concert guests on the night. It is based at a live music venue run by Live Nation Entertainment.
What you'll do
- Sell boxes and reserved seating in advance of each show and work towards a monthly sales target.
- Attend shows to offer available VIP inventory to patrons.
- Advise VIP guests on arrival timings, concert times and venue information.
- Coordinate night-of-show operations with the operations director, servers and security.
- Watch over boxes and reserved seating so guests receive personal service.
- Work occasional special events held elsewhere in the venue.
What you need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations, seating procedures and guest relations.
- Experience selling to high-end, VIP clients.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs in a loud, fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and strong diplomacy for handling tense situations.
Schedule
Works show nights and occasionally special events, so a flexible schedule is required.
