LN Venues, Director of Operations - Vinyl Room Las Vegas

Overview

This Director of Operations role runs daily operations at the Vinyl Room, a members and VIP space within House of Blues Las Vegas. It combines team leadership, guest experience, nightly programming and financial oversight for the unit. The post sits within Live Nation's live music venue business in Las Vegas.

What you'll do

• Recruit, train and manage managers and hourly staff, including performance and disciplinary matters
• Oversee floor operations, purchasing, receiving, weekly inventory and nightly operations reporting
• Deliver service for members, VIPs and special guests, and run special events to high standards
• Build nightly programming with in-house teams and external promoters to grow guest count and sales
• Manage the unit's P&L, food and beverage costs and labor to budget
• Maintain venue atmosphere, sound, lighting and facility standards, including repairs and upkeep

What you need

• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience; hospitality, nightlife or live entertainment leadership preferred
• Experience with purchasing, receiving and inventory, plus P&L responsibility and basic accounting knowledge
• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training or a state or county license, as required
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds and work in loud, fast-paced conditions
• Available for evenings and weekends; wear a radio earpiece during scheduled shifts
