Ticket Agent - Box Office Show

Overview

This box office role at Brooklyn Bowl sells and issues show tickets to guests in person and by phone at a venue combining live performance, bowling and food. The position is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and centres on ticket sales, cash handling and guest service.

What you'll do

• Process and verify card and cash ticket transactions, keeping the cash drawer accurate.
• Answer calls promptly and help guests with ticket questions in person and over the phone.
• Staff the will-call window and resolve guest collection queries.
• Complete opening and closing box office paperwork.
• Keep up to date with talent and entertainment information to advise guests.
• Support miscellaneous box office projects as directed.

What you need

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous ticketing experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of cashiering, phone handling and customer service, with basic point of sale skills.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute.
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs using correct lifting technique.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud, high-volume environment.
