Event & Project Operations Assistant (Sport Signage)

Overview

This hybrid role in the Sport Signage team supports project coordination for racetrack and sports-event signage, covering design, production, installation and logistics. Based in Amberg or Orpington, the post sits within the commercial department and carries project information from agreed scope into delivery. It does not hold overall on-site accountability for events.

What you'll do

• Set up project files covering scope, stakeholders, milestones, approvals, actions and dependencies, and confirm current client requirements.
• Coordinate actions across commercial, estimating and procurement, design, operations and logistics, with clear owners and deadlines.
• Support structured handover meetings so delivery owners receive current drawings, supplier details, approvals and open actions.
• Keep a log of client changes and new requirements, routing commercially relevant items to the commercial team.
• Track pre-event milestones and flag slippage that could threaten delivery readiness.
• Maintain organised project records, meeting notes and closeout information.
• Attend selected events where continuity, client coordination or documentation support is needed, supporting the operations manager without taking over on-site responsibility.

What you need

• Experience in project coordination, commercial operations, event production or project management support.
• Ability to organise cross-functional information and manage several deadlines at once.
• Live event, motorsport, signage or production experience is an advantage.
• Confidence working with both commercial and operational stakeholders.
