Summary
Insomniac is hiring a Concert Producer to lead the planning and delivery of its concerts with the promoter and senior leadership, managing the production team. The role covers on-site operations, budgets, vendor relations and safety planning, and is based onsite in Calabasas, California. Applicants must already have US work authorisation, as Insomniac does not sponsor visas.
What you will do
- Lead the concert production team with the promoter to deliver the event vision
- Plan and oversee on-site operations including security, health and safety, box office, traffic, parking and artist areas
- Develop budgets, obtain vendor bids and manage production department heads' spend
- Oversee special permits, the concert operations and emergency action plan, and safety standards
- Act as the main point of contact for venues and coordinate with local agencies
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in live event planning and producing
- Proven ability to manage teams delivering large-scale events or music festivals
- Experience developing and running staff training sessions
- Strong references and proficiency in spreadsheets
