Summary

Insomniac is recruiting a Manager, Building & Engineering in Calabasas to lead infrastructure planning for its festivals and large-scale events. The role works with production teams on site builds, manages contractors and vendors, and oversees safety, permits and compliance. The position is on-site and reports to the VP, Building & Engineering.

What you will do

• Manage infrastructure planning for festivals and large-scale events
• Partner with production teams on site builds, ensuring engineering integrity and compliance
• Source, hire and manage contractors, engineers and vendors
• Maintain permits, inspections and safety protocols across event sites
• Develop and manage operating budgets and track infrastructure costs

Requirements

• 6+ years in building engineering, facilities management or event infrastructure
• Degree in engineering, operations management or a related field
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and building and fire codes
• Proven experience managing vendors and contractors
• Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends
