Facility Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) – 713 Music Hall

Overview

What you'll do

• Inspect, repair and replace venue seating, from tightening fixings to reupholstering damaged parts.
• Service restroom fittings such as toilets, sinks, faucets and flush mechanisms.
• Carry out carpentry, painting and drywall patching.
• Swap light fittings, switches and outlets and trace minor wiring faults.
• Run preventive checks and respond quickly to urgent repairs, including during events.
• Track repair parts and supplies, reorder stock, and log repairs and recurring issues.
• Arrange repair visits with outside contractors.

What you need

• At least two years in facility, building or venue maintenance, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces.
• Solves problems quickly under pressure and communicates clearly with venue staff and vendors.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Schedule

Part-time, roughly 10 to 20 hours a week. Weekday daytime is preferred, with some evening cover when required.

Pay

Pay is listed at $25 to $50 per hour.
