VIP Host- HOB Houston

Overview

This VIP Host role at House of Blues Houston involves selling premium upgrades and looking after VIP guests on concert nights. It suits someone who can build client relationships and manage high-profile guests in a fast-paced live music venue.

What you'll do

• Sell VIP upgrades, premium seats and priority entry to general admission guests on show nights, handling each sale through payment and experience delivery.
• Greet, check in and escort VIP guests through their visit, anticipating their needs.
• Recognize Foundation Room members, executives and VIP clients, and build lasting relationships with them.
• Use and develop the venue's CRM records for its VIP clientele.
• Coordinate with the operations director, servers and security to deliver premium experiences during shows.
• Set up VIP check-in, seating, table personalization and signage before each night.
• Work occasional special events held at the venue.

What you need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations, VIP nightclub operations or premium guest relations.
• Experience selling to high-end, VIP clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to defuse tense situations with tact.
• Flexible schedule.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift or move up to 25 lbs.

Schedule

Works on nights of concerts at the venue, plus occasional special events, and requires a flexible schedule.
