Summary
RX, a global events and exhibitions organiser, is hiring a Head of Privacy and Data Protection to support the Chief Privacy Officer in running its Privacy Centre of Excellence. The role leads privacy subject matter experts, the Global Rights Centre and privacy risk, governance and training programmes across several regions.
What you will do
- Support the Chief Privacy Officer in maintaining the global privacy strategy and programme
- Conduct final reviews of Data Protection Impact Assessments and safeguards
- Lead the Privacy Risk and Governance Programme and mentor privacy subject matter experts
- Oversee handling of rights requests through the Global Rights Centre
- Lead design and delivery of the privacy training and awareness programme
Requirements
- Extensive data protection and privacy law experience in commercial, data-driven environments
- Track record of designing and implementing privacy, risk, governance and training programmes
- Experience applying privacy principles across marketing, sales, e-commerce and digital platforms
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Recognised privacy certification such as CIPP is highly desirable
