Insomniac - Seasonal Lighting Crew Member, Elevated Experiences

Overview

Insomniac is recruiting a seasonal lighting crew member to install and support lighting for its dance music festivals and events. The role reports to the Lighting Project Manager and covers event sites across several US cities.

What you'll do

• Install lighting fixtures following direction from the lighting project manager and production designer
• Help run electrical wiring and assist with troubleshooting electrical issues
• Support the programming of specialty lighting
• Work with the wider lighting team in a fast-paced production environment
• Travel to events during holidays, evenings and weekends as deadlines require

What you need

• Experience setting up and operating lighting for live events
• Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of lighting programming and control systems
• Ability to walk constantly, climb stairs and lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfort working in loud, busy environments and in extreme temperatures

Schedule

Evening and weekend hours, including holidays, as required to meet event deadlines, with travel to event sites.

Pay

The hourly pay range is $22.00 to $30.00 USD, stated for Nevada.
