FP&A Manager

Overview

This financial planning and analysis role in Tokyo supports RX, an exhibitions and business events organiser. The manager works alongside business unit leaders to improve performance through management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

What you'll do

• Manage monthly management accounting and prepare performance analysis reports for senior leadership.
• Work with business unit managers to draw financial information from non-financial teams and improve cost analysis and budget control.
• Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including revenue and cost projections for coming years.
• Oversee spend management and wider financial planning across business divisions.
• Design and test internal controls that help prevent and respond to legal and policy breaches.
• Review procedures and reports regularly to identify risks and areas of non-compliance.

What you need

• A bachelor's degree is essential.
• A finance qualification such as CPA is expected.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English.
• Five or more years of FP&A experience; management experience is an advantage.
• Experience at an international company is preferred.
