Operations Supervisor PT- Punch Line Irving

Overview

This part-time Operations Supervisor role is based at Punch Line Irving in Irving, Texas, supporting shift operations at a live music venue. The post covers opening, ongoing and closing duties, with a focus on guest experience and accurate close-out of special events.

What you'll do

• Monitor labor costs during each shift, with close attention to overtime.
• Lead pre-shift briefings and manage opening, ongoing and closing tasks.
• Keep the room in order, covering lighting, sound levels, cleanliness, sightlines and capacity.
• Issue liquor pulls and cash drawer changes for bar staff, and log nightly sales and issues.
• Complete safety, cleaning and maintenance walk-throughs of the building.
• Check ticket counts with the box office and submit recap forms to accounting.

What you need

• Responsible alcohol awareness certification or an equivalent qualification, plus a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or music hall.
• Working knowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws and health code rules.
• Availability for late hours and a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods in a fast-paced, loud setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
