Assistant Catering Manager | Raymond James Stadium

Overview

This Assistant Catering Manager role supports food and beverage operations at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The focus is large ticketed events such as NFL and college football games and concerts, along with private and corporate functions. The post works alongside the Catering Manager to run service, staffing and stock.

What you'll do

• Help plan, set up, run and break down catered events to service standards.
• Review banquet event orders, timelines and staffing plans before each event.
• Supervise, train and schedule catering staff, and lead pre-shift briefings and walkthroughs.
• Monitor live service and resolve staffing gaps, delays and product shortages.
• Support inventory, requisitions, labour and cost controls, and waste reduction.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation and responsible alcohol service rules.
• Complete event documentation and post-event reporting.

What you need

• Experience in catering, banquet or hospitality operations.
• Ability to supervise and motivate staff in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Able to read banquet event orders, diagrams and operational schedules.
• Basic maths skills for inventory and labour planning.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying temperatures and weather, with extended and irregular hours.

Schedule

Extended shifts and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, set by the event calendar.
