Cybersecurity and Compliance Executive - 6 month Maternity Cover

Overview

Tahaluf, a joint venture involving Informa, is recruiting a Cybersecurity and Compliance Executive on a six-month temporary basis to cover maternity leave in Riyadh. The role focuses on Saudi regulatory compliance, security controls and data protection for a B2B and B2C events organiser running large-scale live and on-demand events.

What you'll do

• Turn Saudi cybersecurity and data-protection rules (NCA, SAMA, PDPL) into practical policies and procedures.
• Lead PDPL data-privacy readiness and coordinate approvals with the legal team.
• Run recurring vulnerability assessments across web, mobile and API platforms and track fixes with platform owners.
• Prepare security reports for each event for the national cybersecurity authority and maintain audit evidence.
• Oversee daily security monitoring, triage alerts and help run incident response plans and tabletop exercises.
• Build security awareness and phishing-simulation training for staff and event teams.

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years in cybersecurity roles, including at least 2 years within the Saudi regulatory environment.
• Working knowledge of SAMA CSF, NCA controls and PDPL requirements.
• Project coordination skills and the ability to manage several tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for working across technical, legal and operations teams.
