Overview

RX France is recruiting a portfolio director to oversee its trade shows, including Pollutec, Step, WNE, Expoprotection, APS, ITP and Big Data & AI Paris. The role sits within the France & Italy hub leadership team and reports to the hub president. It is based at Tour Vista in Puteaux, La Défense, with up to two remote working days per week.

What you'll do

• Set and deliver strategy across the assigned trade show portfolio, aligned with group priorities.
• Grow existing shows through positioning, pricing, brand, new formats and new territories or segments.
• Develop new launches, partnerships and satellite or alternative events such as conferences and summits.
• Meet revenue and contribution targets against budget.
• Lead and develop the show directors, including recruitment and objective setting.
• Maintain senior relationships with exhibitors, federations, government bodies and the press.

What you need

• Business school education at Bac+4/5 or equivalent in management, commerce or marketing.
• At least 10 years in business development or sales, with international exposure.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to deal with senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing teams and projects with significant financial stakes.
• Excellent communication, analysis and prioritisation skills.

Pay

Base pay is stated as €94,400 to €157,200 for the France location.
