Summary
Informa Markets is seeking a sales manager for its Malaysia team to drive revenue across the ASIAWATER water industry exhibition portfolio. The role covers exhibition space, sponsorship and packages, new business development and CRM handover to event operations. It is based at Sunway Visio Tower in Kuala Lumpur.
What you will do
- Meet or exceed revenue targets across assigned accounts using exhibition space, digital solutions and sponsorship
- Win new business and re-book existing exhibitors on site
- Build and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals
- Maintain the pipeline and customer records in Salesforce
- Share market insights with the marketing team and hand over requirements to event operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Around 4 to 6 years of proven sales or telesales experience with a record of meeting targets
- Experience in the water or wastewater sector is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is preferred
- Fluent written and spoken English
